Mission Statement
Brotherhood Native American Outreach
was established in 1985 as a ministry to all native
peoples, “the forgotten Americans.” We acknowledge that
through “Our Father,” all men are brothers. Then, as
now, we purpose to stand with, and lift up, our Native
American brothers and sisters; to show them, through the
testimony of our lives, and the labor of our hands, a
God whose love is unselfish, unfailing and forgiving; a
God that reaches out his hand of grace, to all men.
Our Vision
The desire of the Lord is that all men
should be saved. In that spirit we, who serve, are
committed to live by word and deed the great commission.
To advance the Gospel boldly, with liberty and
commitment, trusting always, that God’s word will never
return void. With a desire to see all men saved, we
pledge ourselves to be willing vessels, to allow God to
accomplish in and through us, by the power of the Holy
Spirit, his great plan for our lives and his kingdom.
Commitment
Brotherhood is committed to Native
American outreach activities. The criteria for our
involvement in any project are as follows:
- The project must be a direct
benefit to native people, with an evangelistic
emphasis.
- In building or remodeling any
church, counseling center or related building, the
project must have a clear long-term ministry goal, and
be staffed with qualified, trained pastors or
counselors.
- The project must be fully funded by
others.
- The church or congregation
requesting our assistance must have at least 50%
Native American membership. We will make an exception,
if the clearly stated purpose of the construction is
to attract and evangelize Native Americans.
- We will consider all requests.
Decisions will be made on the merit of each request.
- Variances to this policy will be
considered.
- From time-to-time national
disasters occur. In situations where we can help, we
will. I.E. 250,000 gallons of trucked water for flood
victims in 1994 in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa.
- Our activities are limited to the
50 United States of America and it’s possessions. All
other requests should be directed to Brotherhood
International Outreach.
